CATCH REPORT: 95 pike at night!
Once again, our team angler Sebastian has managed to outsmart an absolutely brilliant pike just short of the magical 1 meter mark!
He was able to persuade this great and absolutely fighting pike to take a photo session in a small oxbow lake during the nocturnal spin round!
It bit at temperatures around freezing point, already on the first cast with theSpinmaster PIKE spin rod on a bush hanging over the water.
Here the pike was lying in wait for its prey and couldn't resist the rubber fish right away.
As bait, Sebastian used a 14cm rubber fish from gummifisch.com in a motor oil design with a pink, UV-active tail.
The fight lasted several minutes and the pike gave everything it had.
But in vain, because in the end Sebastian emerged victorious from the drill!
