Sebastian R. was able to persuade this incredibly strong fighting marble carp with a whopping 35 kilograms and 120cm length to go ashore on Boxing Day!

The fish was caught on the neck in a small backwater while fishing with a rubber fish and delivered a superlative fight!

For 40 minutes the fish gave everything it had to offer in temperatures around freezing point and at times pulled more than 100 meters of line from the reel!

Two weeks earlier, Sebastian bought one of our brand new Spinmaster PIKE rods .

This exclusive rod with a casting weight of 30 - 60 grams was able to demand a lot from the fish and ultimately let Sebastian emerge as the winner from the drill!
