The Semi Run Rig Kit is a further development of our Run Rig Kit. It combines all the advantages of an inline or safety clip assembly with those of a pure free/passage assembly. This system can be used as both an in-line mount and a side arm mount without the need for a lead clip.
The Semi Run Rig Kit is easy as pie to use - yet incredibly effective!
The lead sits firmly on the kit and thus offers a reliable self-hook assembly. When a carp bites, the lead weight is used so that the hook penetrates the fish's mouth. Once this is done the lead will detach and slide backwards on the main line like a pass through rig. This ensures that the carp can no longer use the lead weight to pry the hook out of its mouth.
